It has been a favorite leisure spot, and is frequented on Sundays and national holidays. Rizal Park is one of the major tourist attractions of Manila.Actual site where Jose Rizal was executed.

Situated by the Manila Bay, it is an important site in Philippine history. The execution of Filipino patriot José Rizal on December 30, 1896 fanned the flames of the 1896 Philippine Revolution against the Kingdom of Spain. The area was officially renamed Rizal Park in his honor, and the monument enshrining his remains serves as the park’s symbolic focal point. Pinacanauan is considered as one of the most picturesque attractions located in Cagayan. Because of its moderate to medium-quick rapid farther upstream, it is a popular place for rafting and kayaking. The place is surrounded by mountains for hiking, climbing and spelunking. Boat races take place on this river every year on April 21.

Foods in Tuguegarao

Pancit Batil Patong or Pancit Tuguegarao is made out of pansit miki Tuguegarao, minced carabao meat (water buffalo), bean sprouts and other vegetables topped with egg and chicharon.  Batil Patong if directly translated means “beat the egg” for Batil and “placed on top” for Patong and that explains the egg on top.

Lomi is typically cooked using a deep wok on LPG gas stove. About 9–10 minutes is the cooking time for a single serving of lomi.

Small pieces of meat (usually pork, sometimes chicken) and pork liver, are thinly sliced then sauteed with garlic and shallots. It is then cooked until tender. Next, salt, finely ground black pepper and other seasonings are added at this point. Then soup stock is added to prepare the broth. Next the lomi noodle and chopped cabbage is added. While waiting for the noodles to cook, a mixture of cornstarch flour blended with a small amount of water is added to thicken the soup. Finally, just before the whole mixture is transferred to individual bowls, a beaten egg is added as the cook continuously stirs to complete the basic dish. Toppings include slices of kikiam (que-kiam), fish balls, sliced chives, cooked shrimp, and some meatballs. Sometimes stir-fried ground meat (pork or chicken), as well as coarsely ground garlic roasted to golden brown are also available.

Wika Mo, Tangkilikin Mo
